(1) Select a submersible pump with a suitable head. The actual required head of the submersible pump is consistent with the rated head of the pump. The actual required head is the sum of the downhole head, the uphole head and the head loss. The downhole head is the height from the moving water level to the ground; the uphole head is the vertical height from the ground to the water tower; the head loss includes the value of the hydraulic loss of the pipeline, valve, elbow, etc.

Selecting the rated head of the submersible pump can be calculated by increasing the head by 10 to 15 meters. However, the head required for the submersible pump should not be lower than 80% of the rated head. Otherwise, the motor should be overloaded and should be removed. The stage impeller (instead of a bushing with the same height as the impeller) or the appropriate closing of the small valve to lift the upwelling of the well so that the actual required head is close to the rated head of the pump.

(2) Check the liquid in the motor cavity. Check if the motor cavity of the submersible pump is filled with liquid (clean water, anti-rust liquid or insulating oil) as required. If it is found to be not full, it must be replenished as required.

(3) Check the pump insulation resistance. When the thermal insulation resistance value of the winding of the submersible pump to the casing is less than 0.5 MΩ, the wiring shall be inspected and the factor of low insulation resistance shall be eliminated before use. If the oil-filled motor itself has a low insulation resistance, the winding must be dried and replace the insulating oil in the motor .

(4) Check the installation dimensions of the motor and pump. When the pump and the motor need to be assembled, the matching size of the motor and the pump must be checked, and the pumping amount of the pump (generally 1 to 2 mm) is strictly controlled. It is also required to rotate the rotating part of the pump at the coupling.

(5) Insulation and sealing treatment of cable outer joints. Before the submersible pump goes down, the joints of the external cables must be reliably sealed. The core wires of each phase shall not be twisted with each other. The joints must be fastened with copper wire, soldered and the sharp burrs are removed, and then the polyethylene tape is used to semi-lap the 3~4 layers, and then the self-adhesive tape is half-stacked 4~ 6 layers, and then use polyester tape to mechanically reinforce the outermost half of the 1~2 layer, and finally fix it with cable gland.

After the cable joint is sealed, the joint will be test for immersion sealing performance in the water. After the sealing requirements are met, the pump is placed in the well

(6) Check the direction of rotation of the submersible pump. Connect the electrical protection switch and power supply, tilt the pump upside down, fill the pump body with water inlet, pre-run the plastic bearing in the pump body, then stand upright and stabilize the submersible pump instantaneously (running time should not exceed 1 second), from At the water inlet section, observe whether the direction of rotation of the pump and the direction indicated by the steering sign are the same (counterclockwise from the top to the bottom). If the direction is not correct, replace any two of the three-phase wiring.

(7) Calculate the downhole depth of the submersible pump. The calculation of the depth of the submersible pump is determined by the number of installations of the water pipe, which can be divided by the length of each section of the pipe according to the depth of the water level and the depth of the pump. However, the depth of the submersible pump should not be too large, because the motor and cable line sneak into the water and withstand a certain water pressure. The deeper the diving, the greater the water pressure, exceeding a certain limit, the insulation performance of the motor and cable will be improved. Water or moisture is destroyed. Therefore, the maximum diving depth of a general submersible pump must not exceed 60 meters. In addition, the submersible pump should not be less than 2 meters from the bottom of the well, and the submersible pump inlet should not be less than 1 meter below the moving water level.
